We Up! A Zine Fundraiser
We're making a zine and we need your help! Help us bring a little humanity and hope to endlessly trying times with a thoughtful zine created with care and intention.
The zine’s theme is progress and transitions with reflections on each and a focus on the perspectives of women, femmes, and non-binary people. The zine’s goal is to remind us all that human creativity and thought continue to thrive.
The zine will happen in 3 phases:
Submissions (accepted until August 4, 2026)
Digital publishing (zine will be hand-crafted and scanned to PDF)
Print publishing (some time this fall, hard copy zines will be available for shipping)

How do you describe the sacrifices of motherhood? Womanhood? Of being neither and doing it all?

If you could tell yourself from before a big life shift (or series of life shifts) something that you now know, what would it be?

Guidelines & Terms
Thank you for your submission. By submitting a piece (whether one line or a full essay) you are agreeing to the following:
Your submission may be edited for clarity or grammar, but not for content or intent.
Everyone whose submission is included will receive a complimentary copy of the digital zine.
Unlike a blog or website, you will not be able to share the entirety of the written piece or publication with others.
As a fundraiser, submissions are unpaid. If sales continue past 2026, we will reach out about compensation.
